books

In a fit of rampant narcissism, I self-published two wee books. Apparently they are called “chapbooks”, meaning small books containing poems, ballads, tales or tracts. For me, they are two tiny,  glimmering answers to the question “what if… ?”.

The first: Exit This Side

Exit This Side contains observations from a daily commute on Vancouver’s SeaBus and features an essay (Do I run for it?) that was published in the Globe and Mail’s First Person section.

The second: Keep Door Closed

Keep Door Closed contains poetry, lyrics, a short story and other various shards of my heart. The pieces explore love, longing and loss captured during a period of transition. Was all better left unsaid? Too late now.
